Nippon Culture

As usual, NIPPON CULTURE brings you a variety of insights to Japanese culture. This year, however, a special focus is directed at the memories of 3-11. Artistic as well as academic approaches will be presented in an attempt to deal with the catastrophic events that took place one year ago.

Other programme items will be centered around traditional Japanese culture, from calligraphy and storytelling to workshops on kimono and wagashi sweets. If you like, you can take a look behind the scenes of Japanese cinema in interviews with film-makers and in lectures, or you can party all night at concerts and DJ sessions.
