From 4-9 June 2013 Nippon Connection will take place at Künstlerhaus Mousonturm and Naxoshalle in Frankfurt am Main. Other locations will include the Mal Seh'n Cinema and the German Film Museum Cinema.
"Our Homeland" by Yonghi Yang is selected as Japan's submission to the 2012 Academy Awards "Best Foreign Language Film".The film was the closing film of Nippon Connection Film Festival 2012.
