Nippon Visions Award 2012

THE SOUND OF LIGHT by Juichiro YAMASAKI convinced the international Jury. For the third time, the award was presented
in cooperation with Japan Visualmedia Translation Academy (JVTA). The director will be provided with a free subtitling for his next film.

The Jury, consisting of the members Chris MaGee (Toronto J-Film Pow-Wow / Shinsedai Cinema Festival), Yonghi YANG (Director of OUR HOMELAND) and Andreas Platthaus (FAZ) also expressed a honorary mention for  FUKUSHIMA: MEMORIES OF A LOST LANDSCAPE by Yojyu MATSUBAYASHI.
